Birthing Coders IT tutoring services will enable students to grasp what they are already being taught in schools. We also offer IT tutoring oriented services that will further the knowledge and skill set of science and technology.
Our mandate is to be global pioneers within the industry and to foster change through adequate initiatives that will help societies at large in the long run. Education is no longer just limited to classrooms. Our organization has been able to identify the importance of coding and programming and its way forward.
Established in 2020, Birthing Coders is an initiative driven by the need to see technologically advanced societies predominantly those with in disenfranchised communities. Our organization focuses on providing extra lessons and tutorials for high school learners who take up IT related subjects within their designated institutions of learning. Offers various coding courses including an introduction to programming, Introduction to full stack development, Basic Java to advanced Java, Front-end Technologies, Database design and Development, enabling kids to improve their problem-solving skills with a hands-on curriculum and also help enhance their cognitive abilities.

Full stack technology refers to the entire depth of a computer system application, and full stack developers straddle two separate web development domains: the front end and the back end. The front end includes everything that a client, or site viewer, can see and interact with.
Front-end Technologies
A front end is the graphical user interface of a computer that makes it easier to use. For example, Microsoft Windows 3.11 was a front end for the MSDOS command line. Before Windows, the user had to memorize multiple commands to perform tasks on the command line that made computers difficult for most users.
Database design and Development
Database development is designing, creating a database or data model, and analyzing requirements and their intents as raw data. Database development aims to create a structure that will allow for the efficient storage and retrieval of data.
Basic Java to advanced Java
Core Java is the part of Java programming language that is used for creating or developing a generalpurpose application. Advanced Java is also a part of Java programming language that generally deals with online application like the website and mobile application

The Development of Birthing Coders
The majority of the population in sub-Saharan Africa has little or no access to technology-based learning. The persistence of this problem is closely associated with the absence of sustainable infrastructure facilities and the prevalence, inter alia, of low indigenous ICT capacity in the region, and the lack of the necessary equipment to drive change. Our organization was established to try and mitigate these problems and promote intrinsic values that endorse sustainable development and introduce ICT learning within schools. In addition to this, ICT learning is yet to slowly develop its substantive footing within the African context and as Birthing Coders we thought it significantly important to ensure that we become team players that take part in this growth wave and development. Our team has over 5years of aggregated experience understanding clients’ unique requirements across a spectrum of sectors to deliver results that add value.

The Information Technology (IT) subject presented in South African schools is considered a difficult subject. The number of Grade 9 learners opting to take IT as a subject in Grade 10 is decreasing and the number of learners continuing with IT to Grade 12 is declining. Our mission is to bring information Technology to the classrooms, we want to make information technology that is of a world class standard readily available to all students across the country and worldwide. Our after-school program aims to develop technological skill amongst the youth at a tender age, making it possible for young people to attain the relevant skill set, workplace placement and career advancements within their school years

Castro Mathake
DirectorCastro Mathake is a Computer science and information technology graduate, he holds an honorary degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering. He is the founder Of Birthing Coders and has keen interests in advancing ICT learning in Africa and beyond. Castro is currently employed at First National bank as a performance engineer. His expertise includes developing scripts that run under stress or load, liaise with portfolio managers, their developers, database administrators and infrastructure personnel. Castro reports directly to head of Quality Assurance
